WebChronicler is a browser extension that indexes your entire browsing history and automatically categorizes webpages into Articles, PDFs, Videos, Books, Products and more.

It then lets you search your entire history with any keyword you remember seeing on the page and can add notes and tags as well.

I made it because I'm lazy about bookmarking the web page I visit but I would still like to have them organized and searchable with the least amount of effort.

I built the app using React, Django, Postgres, ElasticSearch, AWS SQS and AWS Lambda

I shut it down because I didn't have enough paying customers and it cost too much to host the entire stack on AWS.
